The 25th Annual Queens LGBT Pride Celebration, today in Jackson Heights, Queens. Pride at Work NYC/LI is here to celebrate this important tradition.
We are heartbroken and angry over the murder of 49 lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people in Orlando, Florida on June 13, 2016. It is a cruel reminder during Pride month that while our community has come so far, many of us still face violence, discrimination, fear, and poverty in our daily lives. We stand in solidarity with our LGBTQ family in Florida and vow to continue fighting for the safety, justice, respect, and dignity of all LGBTQ people.
Please join us in contributing to Equality Florida's fundraising campaign for the victims of the Pulse Shooting.
To find a vigil near you, WeAreOrlando.org is tracking locations and details of planned vigils.
The weather held out for a perfect day to proudly stroll up NYC's Fifth Avenue in the annual NYC Central Labor Council Labor Day Parade.
We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
Please join September 12th us as we march up Fifth Avenue to celebrate and stand with our fellow workers who've made this city and state strong and beautiful.
We'll be gathered on 44th Street between 5th Ave & Vanderbilt St at 9am. We step off at 10:00am.
